Outfit of the Day 122

Sunglasses: Domino Dollhouse | Top: Evans | Skirt: ASOS Curve | Tights: Donatellas | Shoes: MIA

Just like in my last OOTD post, here's another outfit put together around an awesome pair of tights, this time the candy heart print tights from Donatella's! These tights are excellent, and I really can't say how thrilled I am to have found a great source for cute tights in plus sizes! These tights have the same great fit and quality of the other tights I got from Donatella, and I'm looking forward to trying out even more fun patterns and prints from them.

One thing I'm really digging about this outfit (besides the totally cute tights) is the X's and O's in the look via the belt, shoes, and sunglasses. It's just a bit of a fun little thing to tie in with the heart print, mostly because I love you all. Keep rockin'! xoxo<3

Outfit of the Day 121

Top: Forever 21+ | Skirt: ASOS Curve | Belt (worn as bracelet): Forever 21+ |
Tights: Donatella's | Shoes: Payless

I recently received these awesome tights, and I thought what better way to show them than with a bit of a OOTD remix! If you've been around the blog for any length of time, you've no doubt noticed that I pretty much love hosiery. I believe that a great pair of pantyhose can really make a bold statement in any outfit, and honestly, what can be better than skull print tights?

Sometimes when I find tights with a great print or pattern, it comes with a bit of a trade off. Either they don't quite fit right, or they aren't very comfortable, but that totally wasn't the case with these! I was really surprised at how soft and smooth the material feels, yet for sheer pantyhose they still feel pretty thick and durable. I'm pretty sure everyone needs a pair of these tights in their lives, so head over to Donatella's and check out the selection!

Here's a bonus photo from my Instagram account (follow it!)! Keep rockin'!

Outfit of the Day 120

Top & Dress: Forever 21 | Pantyhose: Legluxe | Shoes: Payless

I finally managed to resist pairing pink with blue in an OOTD! This outfit was inspired by Mindy Kaling from The Mindy Project, just because I love her and I feel like this is something she'd wear. I've actually been looking for a white top to wear under a dress like this for a while now, but I've not been able to find one that fit me properly. They all seem to turn into crop tops when I raise my arms, and while this one is no exception, it was cheap enough to keep and it still works in this application. Mrs. Spookshow says I should just get my button tops from the men's department, but they've always just felt so heavy and blocky tailoring-wise, so I want to avoid that.

Anyhow, I'm trying a new pair of pantyhose today. These are actually the brand that Mrs. Spookshow wears on the rare occasions when she wears pantyhose, and they are compression support hose. Definitely a lot thicker and tigher than the pantyhose I usually prefer, but I spent all yesterday out in my workshop / gaming room getting it all cleaned and reorganized, so my feet and knees were really aching. I decided to try these pantyhose to see if they would help out in that regard.

That's all for this one, y'all. Seeya soon!
